Today, I was awed by the news story by Time Magazine about David Wroblewski, whose best selling fiction book, The Story of Edgar Sawtelle is currently on the New York Times best seller list, currently at the number one position. Time says Wroblewski is one of the first computer programmers to be a best selling fiction writer . This has some fascination for me, since I was a computer programmer myself and have quite a bit of affinity toward fiction writing. Wroblewski’s novel concentrates on a mute, who takes refuge in Wisconsin woods after his father’s death. The novel was chosen by Oprah Winfrey through her most popular Oprah Winfrey Show.
